Axial and transverse probes are available together with unpackaged probes for cryogenic applications.

The Mag-01H instrument may be powered by either mains voltage or internal battery, and have a 4½ digit display and an analog output. The internal rechargeable sealed lead acid battery provides up to 16 hours continuous use and may be recharged using the mains adaptor provided.

The Mag-01H has an additional x10 sensitivity switch for a resolution of 0.1nT and an offset control for up to ±90µT in 10µT steps.

This instrument feature superb linearity, accuracy, and very low drift with time and temperature. Calibration is traceable to international standards, and a re-calibration service is available.

Probes for the Mag-01H

The sensing axis of the Mag-B and Mag-D probes is along the axis of the cylindrical enlosure (axial) and the sensing axis of the Mag-C and Mag-E probes is along the axis of the short cylinder mounted at the end of the probe (transverse). The magnetic detection axis and center of sensitive volume are marked on each probe.

The cryogenic Mag-F and Mag-G probes are suitable for operation at temperatures down to liquid helium and have 1 meter of 4 x .02mm enameled copper wire connected to the sensing element for use in a cryostat or vacuum chamber. This length can be extended to a maximum of 5 meters if required. Cable assemblies with Customer specified vacuum feed-through connector and cable are available to special order.

Bartington Mag-01H D/I System https://gmw.com/product/bartington-mag-01h-di-system/ Thu, 10 Mar 2022 22:46:11 +0000 https://gmw1.wpenginepowered.com/?post_type=product&p=18519 The Mag-01H D/I system consists of a precision single-axis fluxgate magnetometer mounted on top of a non-magnetic theodolite. The fluxgate connects to the Mag-01H that provide power, drive electronics and display for the fluxgate element.

The primary purpose of the instrument is to measure the magnetic declination and inclination of a magnetic field (typically the Earth’s magnetic field) with a high degree of precision. Commonly used in magnetic observatories around the world, the system can also be used to perform compass pad calibration or be used in the cross calibration of other magnetometers typically mounted in range finders.

Bartington Fluxgate Gradiometer, Grad601 https://gmw.com/product/bartington-fluxgate-gradiometer-grad601/ Thu, 10 Mar 2022 23:56:17 +0000 https://gmw1.wpenginepowered.com/?post_type=product&p=18526 The Grad601 is a land use single-axis gradiometer with a 1m separation between the two fluxgate sensors. The system comprises 1 or 2 gradiometer sensors (Grad601-1 or Grad601-2), a battery pack and datalogger for turnkey operation out of the box.

The gradiometer’s main application is for the use or land survey for archaeological features. The highly sensitive gradiometers will detect sub-nT field variations over the spacing between the two sensing elements. These anomalies may be linked to soils of differing magnetic susceptibilities or the presence of high susceptibility material (kilns).

Additionally, to expand the survey coverage, the gradiometers can be installed on a cart system that could carry multiple gradiometers at different spacing options. This facilitate ground cover without burdening the operator.

Group3 Digital Teslameter, 1-axis, DTM-133 https://gmw.com/product/dtm-133/ Fri, 08 Feb 2019 18:34:45 +0000 https://gmw1.wpenginepowered.com/?post_type=product&p=1629 The Group3 DTM-133 is a high performance Hall effect teslameter (gaussmeter) with digital linearity correction to provide 0.03% accuracy, resolution to 100ppm, and a temperature stability of 100ppm/°C. For the most demanding applications, the DTM-151 with digital linearity and temperature correction has 0.01% accuracy, resolution to 2ppm, and a temperature stability of 10ppm/°C should be used.

The DTM-133 digital Hall teslameters (gaussmeters) provide superior accuracy, resolution, and long term measurement stability. They outperform other commercially available Hall effect based instruments for precision applications of field mapping, magnet field control, magnetic sensor calibration, and permanent magnet quality control.

All Group3 Hall probes are pre-calibrated against an NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) Teslameter (Gaussmeter) over their operating field and temperature range. The unique characteristics of each probe are stored in an EPROM located in the probe connector. This enables the probes to be interchanged without recalibration.

These teslameters (gaussmeters) are particularly suitable for permanent installation in particle accelerators or test and measurement equipment. They are mechanically compact, and up to three units may be installed in a single 2U EIA 19″ rack panel. Their high brightness LED displays can be viewed from any angle, in low ambient light, and from several meters distance. Special attention has been paid to circuit and software design to ensure completely reliable operation in electrically noisy environments.

The two available interfacing options are IEEE-488 or RS-232C. The serial interface includes a fiber optic port to enable operation of the DTM at a high voltage with respect to the host computer.

For less demanding applications, the DTM-133 with only digital linearity correction has 0.03% accuracy, resolution to 10ppm, and a temperature stability of 100ppm/°C.

The Group3 DTM digital Hall teslameters (gaussmeters) provide superior accuracy, resolution, and long term measurement stability. Group3 Digital Teslameter, 3-axis, DTM-333 https://gmw.com/product/group3-digital-teslameter-3-axis-dtm-333/ Mon, 07 Oct 2019 21:01:34 +0000 https://gmw1.wpenginepowered.com/?post_type=product&p=9211 The DTM-333 is a new generation of Digital Teslameter/Gaussmeter but includes the same tried and tested reliable technology used in previous versions.  The technology and accuracy is the same as the Group3 DTM-133 but in a 3D or 3 Channel environment. We have taken great care to ensure the product is backwardly compatible in all ways. There is no need to buy new probes if you already have some – the DTM-333 can accept all models of Group3 Hall probes.

The new DTM-333 has 2 main operating modes – Axis (3D Mode and Channel Mode. In Axial mode the 3D probe is used (3DT-130 or 3DT-230). This means the Teslameter operates exclusively as a combined 3 axis instrument. When a mode is changed ie. range is set to 1 then all axis follow similarly when zeroing. In channel mode each channel is able to be operated independently of the other allowing the user the flexibility of 3 separate channels for 3 separate tasks including being able to use different specification probes. This means the DTM‐333 is a very flexible instrument.

Senis 3MH6-E High-Precision Teslameter with Interchangeable Hall Probes https://gmw.com/product/3mh6-e-high-precision-teslameter/ Mon, 22 Nov 2021 22:55:00 +0000 https://gmw1.wpenginepowered.com/?post_type=product&p=18256 Low Noise Teslameter with integrated Hall probe incorporates a high accuracy magnetic field-to analog-voltage transducer with a high-level, temperature compensated output signal for each of the three components of the measured magnetic flux density: Bx, By and Bz. A digital module is additionally applied to the analog transducer to form the digital Teslameter. Digital Teslameter provides the possibility of automatic data acquisition via a USB serial interface by a
host computer. In this way, customers can easily integrate a measurement routine into their measurement system using its programming tools such as C, C++, C#, Python, Delphi, LabVIEW, etc.

The temperature measurement feature allows user to obtain current temperature values while monitoring the magnetic field.

The transducer consists of two modules:
1. Interchangeable Hall probe with various cable length (Module H), and
2. Electronics (Module E).

The Low-Noise Digital Teslameter is a high accuracy, temperature very stabilized device for the precise measurement of magnetic field.
Each Teslameter is calibrated with the individual correction data for the connected probe, so the Hall probe is interchangeable, by keeping the same accuracy of 100ppm.
